About the shop
A small shop with a long memory
Mr. Book's opened in 2014 with four shelves and a promise: if a reader in Peshawar asks for a book, we'll get it.
Twelve years on we fill every wall of Shop B/1 — new releases from Karachi and London publishers sit beside second-hand Urdu digests, Pashto diwans, and the O-Level past papers that half the city's students pass through our door for.
We still take special orders by hand, wrap gifts in brown paper, and keep the kettle on for anyone who's staying a while.
